Positive Reinforcement

Our motivational clicker training methods are taught with positive reinforcement.

A reinforcer is anything that, occurring in conjunction with an act, tends to increase the probability that the act will occur again. We use Gentle Leader head collars (see photo at left), and never choke chains or corrective methods. Corrections temporarily suppress unwanted behavior, while positive reinforcement for correct and acceptable behavior eliminates and extinguishes it permanently.
